Want to try a digital detox in a relaxing, rural location? Look no further than Hush Hush Glamping. Our two glamping pods are nestled in the heart of a 90-acre family farm here in mid Wales, offering incredible scenery and abundant wildlife. Escape to the Welsh countryside for some much-needed time away from your phones.
Disconnect from social media and reconnect with nature during your rural staycation. We have no wi-fi in the pods – why not spend this time observing the fascinating wildlife here on the farm? Our animal visitors include handsome hares, delicate deer, noisy nuthatches, wonderful woodpeckers, joyful jays, flitting foxes and regal red kites. Surrounded by 90-acres of fascinating farmland, you may wander curiously into the fields and forest above.
Fostings Farm is home to Hush Hush Glamping, as well as our friendly herd of alpacas who freely roam the land. You can often spot them near the decking in the mornings and witness them playing and skipping around at dusk.
If you are a keen explorer, there are many local attractions nearby. The Radnor Forest is just a 10-minute walk from the site, boasting plenty of gentle tracks and trails for a leisurely stroll. There is also a 10.5-mile trail for those of you who are keen mountain bikers. Water-breaks-its-neck Waterfall is just a 15-minute drive from our glamping site and is well worth a visit. This beautiful waterfall earned its claim to fame in local girl Ellie Goulding’s ‘Your Song’ video.
The nearby Elan Valley Dams & Reservoirs are truly fascinating. They were built over a hundred years ago to supply much-needed clean water to Birmingham; today, they welcome visitors from near and afar to take in the stunning scenery and discover the numerous species of plants and animals. You could also venture to the nearby picturesque Victorian town of Llandrindod Wells and follow the circular mile-walk around the glistening lake.
