What to do and where to go?
We understand that Covid-19 has put a dampner on 2020 and many places and attractions will be affected, but there is still plenty to do on a Glamping break.
Situated in such an amazing landscape, you can simply take it easy and absorb the views or stroll over to see our little herd of Alpacas. Getting in some fresh air won't be a problem, as you can start walking in beautiful Radnorshire right outside your door with our fields offering incredible views of the valley and leading you into the Radnor Forest.
Take a look at ideas below to fill your Glamping getaway...
Catch up with some reading
Take a walk across the farm
Just step out of Hare's Form to begin a gentle amble across our fields which spans 90 acres. Being the only guest accommodation here, you'll have the place to yourself.
Bring a couple of those books with you that have been sat on your bedside cabinet for months waiting to be read and get lost in fantasy. fiction, facts or mystery - wherever you fancy escaping to!
Escape the chaos of daily life to give yourself a digital detox away from notifications and social media's constant info overflow to allow you to take time out, laugh, shower, eat, sleep, truly relax, unwind and recharge without interruption.
Listen to the wildlife and unwind
You needn't go anywhere, not when you have a view like this right outside the door. Sit back in the deck chairs to admire Radnor Valley in all its splendour, watch the Red Kites soar past, hear the drum of the woodpeckers busy at work and watch the Alpacas wander by.
Experience stunning landscape without the need to leave the car as you drive through its twists and turns from Rhayader to Aberystwyth over the top of the Elan Valley Dams.
Home to large clusters of Roe Deer, the forest boasts the highest point in Radnorshire, Black Mixen, at 650 metres (2,150 feet) above sea level. From the Pod, take a 10 minute walk across our fields to reach the forest.
Just seven miles from the Pod, tucked in a crook of Warren Woods, this waterfall is a beautiful feature of the Radnor Forest. Look for the Waterfall's claim to fame in Ellie Goulding's 'Your Song' video.
With a TV and DVD player in Hare's Form you can choose from a small selection of DVDs or bring your own to catch up on your favourite movies or the new ones you have been meaning to see but have been just too busy for.
