The Neighbours
40 alpacas live at the farm and can often be seen ambling around the accommodation. They may move fields from time to time, as according to their pasture management schedule, but remain on the farm year round so if they're not right outside, they'll only be a short walk away.
Alongside the alpacas, the farm is home to 140 ewes and each Spring welcomes around 230 lambs.
Amenities
Wood Fired Hot Tub
Relax in the warmth of the hot tub, nestled under a protective canopy that ensures enjoyment in any weather, surrounded by the natural beauty and tranquillity of your very own glamping oasis.
The heating process takes approx 3 - 4 hours to reach a toasty 36-38°C. Complimentary kindling and wood is supplied within the cost of your stay and is enough to get the water to temperature.
If want to hop straight into the hot tub on arrival, pre-lighting can be added to your booking as an optional extra. Further wood for the hot tub, should you need it, is available to purchase via online card payment at the pod.
Firepit & BBQ
Unleash your inner grill master with the large George Foreman charcoal BBQ, featuring an adjustable grill and integrated temperature gauge. Perfect for alfresco feasts, this BBQ can fit up to 12 burgers at once, allowing you to effortlessly cook enough for everyone's appetite while enjoying views of the rolling landscape. Gather around the firepit for an evening of roasting marshmallows and storytelling under the stars.
Please be advised:
During periods of exceptionally dry weather and/or heatwaves, the use of BBQs and firepits may be temporarily banned as a precautionary measure to help mitigate the risk of fire and protect our guests, animals, wildlife and neighbouring properties. If such a suspension is necessary, the situation will be reviewed regularly, and BBQs and firepits will be reinstated once sufficient rainfall has been received to properly saturate the ground and we are satisfied that conditions are safe.
Sleeping & Heating
When it's time to rest, retreat to one of the two luxurious Hypnos double beds for a night of supreme comfort.
Enjoy warmth from your toes up, with underfloor heating throughout the kitchen, bedrooms and living area and keep warm when freshening up, with a heated towel rail in the bathroom.
Kitchen
Settle in with a Welsh tea or coffee on arrival. Make use of the integrated oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, regular size fridge with mini freezer compartment (perfect for a bag of ice and a small tub of ice cream), pans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery and let the dishwasher take care of the cleaning up afterwards!
Stress less about packing, as washing up liquid, cloth, sponge, anti-bac cleaner, hand soap, hand and tea towels are also provided.
