Hush Hush Glamping has once again been awarded a prestigious GOLD AWARD by Visit Wales, retaining our Quality Assured Glamping accreditation for 2026/27.
Following our latest quality assurance inspection on 29th June 2026, carried out by Visit Wales Quality Development Executive Christopher Woodfield, Hush Hush Glamping achieved an impressive 72 points out of a possible 80, achieving a score of 90%.
The Visit Wales Quality Assured grading scheme, which benchmarks accommodation against nationally recognised standards, requires a minimum score of 60% to achieve the Quality Assurance stamp. The Gold Award is reserved for establishments achieving 80% or above, meaning Hush Hush Glamping has once again exceeded the requirements for this prestigious accolade.
Christopher visited our 90 acre working farm in mid Wales to assess our two adult only glamping cabins, Alpacas Rest and Hares Form, against the Visit Wales criteria, including arrival experience, facilities, comfort, cleanliness, housekeeping, setting, and those all-important personal touches that make a stay memorable. During his inspection report, Christopher commented:
"Two high-quality glamping cabins are surrounded by tranquil countryside and offer excellent scenic views of the valley below. The cabins are very neatly presented and both feature decking areas with wood-fired
hot tubs."
Christopher also highlighted the thoughtful touches provided for arriving guests, the comprehensive digital guidebook, complimentary kindling and firewood for the hot tubs, and the high quality facilities throughout both cabins.
"The bedrooms feature Hypnos mattresses and good quality bedding. High standards of housekeeping throughout both units."

The Visit Wales Gold Award recognises exceptional quality, facilities and attention to detail, assessing sense of place, arrival information, extra touches, exterior grounds and setting, bed quality, bathroom and kitchen facilities, living spaces, lighting and heating, housekeeping and cleanliness. When choosing accommodation, guests can look for the Cymru/Wales quality mark, knowing that it represents Wales’ official nationwide quality assessment scheme and that the accommodation has been independently inspected before they arrive.
With a stay at Hush Hush Glamping, guests can enjoy the perfect countryside escape, whether relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub at Hares Form (sleeping two adults), unwinding in Alpacas Rest (sleeping up to four adults), enjoying an outdoor cinema evening, or meeting our resident alpacas during your stay.
But Hush Hush Glamping is no newcomer to awards, as they were dubbed the 'Best Adult-Only Glamping Retreat', have been named the 'Best Adult-Only Farmstay in Wales' and even got celebrity approval from TOWIE star Pete Wicks.
